I'm back!

Hi everyone!

After some time off for sanity's sake, I'm back online and back to blogging.
Lots has happened in the months away. Most notably two new book releases.
Distant Heart is getting great reviews and so is You Had me at Goodbye.

We're gearing up for my daughter's graduation in THREE months. Oh my gosh, I just realized it was so soon. After that is college and then...I don't want to talk about it. I just don't. (ME STICKING MY HEAD IN THE SAND). She got accepted into Northern Arizona State today. :) But she is going to a local college--Missouri. So that's that.

On the writing front, I'm pretty much done and I'm looking for the next project. This is the first time in several years I haven't had a contract waiting. But I felt like it was the right thing to do--sit back, pray and really listen to God about where to go next. I would love to settle down and write for one company. Hopefully that's God's plan too.

Well, off to bed. It's been a long day. Kids have been out for two days due to ice and snow and are out again tomorrow. We've been playing a lot of scrabble. I've been winning. Well, okay...Rusty won one game. But I'm sure it was a fluke.

Peace

Hi Tracey :) Thanks for dropping by my blog. Had a giggle about you not realising Hugh Laurie is British - he has that American accent down pat! Blessings!

Hi Tracey.

I discovered your book "Leave it to Claire" yesterday while in a Christian store. I picked it up while standing in the aisle and fell in love with your writing style and story line instantly.

Strangely enough, (although I believe there is no such thing as a coincidence)I was in another store this morning (not a Christian store) and came across another of your books, "Claire Knows Best". I bought the second book as well.

Once I finish these two books I look forward to exploring your others.

Good Luck on all your future ventures.

Committ to the Lord whatever you do, and you will succeed.

Hello Mrs. Bateman, I happened upon "The Color of the Soul" while browsing the library last Sunday. I could not put it down. I truly loved the book. It really tugged at my emotions. I will be searching for Freedom of the Soul on my next visit to the library. I am a writer too, however I have not published anything, but it is my hope and dream since the age of 12. I write everything longhand since I do not have a laptop of my own, however I believe through inspirations such as your self I will achieve my dreams. This was my first time reading your work and I want to know it was truly a pleasure reading this tremendous story of love, pain, loss, reunions and healing.
